My family will be at Disney for the first 3 weeks of November. I was wondering when the Christmas lights are swithched on around the parks.

MK's Castle Lighting Ceremony is at 5:45pm.

Don't think anything else begins until Nov. 28th this year.

If the lights ARE turned on anywhere else, it would be about 6pm, as that's when it gets dark in Florida at that time of year.

We will probably only be there until Nov 23rd so it looks like we will miss the lights which is a shame as we have never seen them before.
I was hoing that they may coincide with the Mickey Christmas party.

The tree lighting ceremony at Epcot with the Disney characters starts at 6. It is a must see for my family when we are there in December

Hope you have a magical trip!

Expect many of the lights and decorations at various resorts and parks to be up and "on" when you are there,
but the formal opening of the Osborne Lights at DHS (normally starting with MVMCP at MK) have been delayed until Nov. 28th this year.

Maybe they will have a soft opening before that date.
We will only know more as the dates get closer.

Be sure to see the "life-sized" Gingerbread House in the beautiful atrium lobby of the Grand Floridian.
