Christmas in November, here i come! - My 1st PTR

Hello
This is my first Pre Trip Report! so lets see how this goes...

So lets start it up with the easiest things first. who, what , when, where and why.

WHO
Well first It was going to be my mom, sister, dad and i. But then my dad decided he was not going to go... so now my grandmother is going to come with us!!!

WHAT
It's going to be my 2nd trip to WDW.

WHEN
November 10th to the 17th... 4 days at AKL and 3 at WL.

WHERE
WDW!!!

WHY
Because we love it and want to go again.

So i guess that's it for now... but lots more to come! From where we're going to eat and what we are going to give my grandmother to get her excited! (only 100 days according to my Cell phone!!!)

today is 100 days untill my vacaction!!! I'm sooo excited! So today my mom gave my grandmother a certificate. it said congradulations!!! Only 100 days untill emmbrassing your (grand) children on the ultimate trip!
Also it had some pictures and stuff on it. the next 100 days are going to be fun!

now for ADRs.

there are only three... but oh well!

One is for Chef Mickeys. My sister Picked this one because she really liked, well we all did. Plus the last time we were there Mickey Mouse came and sat down and had a "conversation" with us.

Two is Planet Hollywood. i chose this one cause i though it was really neat to look at all the different things. though i dont remember what the food tasted like...

Three is or the Wish Desert Party. It's an all you can eat desert buffet and you sit on a terrace to watch the parade and fire works... this is the one im most excited for!

We are also planing to go to Beach's 'n' Cream for ice cream and to get the old coke bottles. And to Cosmic Rays cause my mom got a good burger last time.

Hope anyone reading is liking it so far! anyone what to know anything about the trip? cause i cant really think of to to much to talk about

Today we are giving my Grandmother the Disney planning DVD. it has piglet on the front writing on a page with crayon and my mom wrote on the page only 99 more day! I hope she likes it!

I was wondering if you plan on going to the MVMCP ? I was debateing about the Dessert Party but wondered if it all might bee too much since we will only be at MK the night of the Party.

Are you going to see OL? I can not wait to see them they look fantastic

How about the F & W at Epcot, I plan on going to see Rick Springfield on Nov 10th

no were not going to the MVMCP.

With F & W we are not planing on going but if we are there and see something we want to try we will.

so for 98 days we told my grandmother (lets start calling her DG for short) we were coming for a movie night. but what she didnt know is that we were going to have a princess tea. we had cream puffs and something else ... abd had sparkling apple juice and ginger ale in wine glasses. it was so fun! we also had crowns to wear! and of course we watched Cinderella.

for yesterday (97 days) we gave my DG mickey soap and shampoo from our last trip.

Today (96 days) we gave my DG another certificate. It said this is wht we looked like 1055 days ago... think about whaqt were going to look like in 96 days! and then a photo of me and my sister infront of the castle on our last trip.

So i have been searching and searching for a park bag for myself. but most of the bags are expinsive or wont ship to Canada. I started a thread on the TB about what bags you take into the park if anyone would like to share there bag. heres the link.---

I have been looking at the Vera Bradley hipster. but of course they dont ship to canada. and my mom doesnt trust buying stuff on Ebay. so tomorrow and in a coupl weeks im going to look around here but i do really like the vera bradley.

Books.
I have been reading some books about disney resantly. Like The unoffical guide to Disnet, and Kingdom Keepers. I just ordered the day before a book called The Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World; over 600 secrets of Magic Kingdom, Epoct, Hollywood studios and Animal Kingdom. Has anyone ever read this book? is it good? i'm looking forward to reading it!

I got a bag! we were just looking around in some stores for bags and then we walk into winners and over to the bags and my mom goes oh! oh! so i walk over and she has this bag...

I love it! its waterproof, colourful, and should hold all my stuff!

now im even more excited!

Have not read the books you mentioned but I did find one I plan on picking up before my trip called MouseJunkies which I read about on the DIS (of course )

I like the bag it is so colorful

The one I purchased for my upcoming trip is all black but it has lots of compartments for all the items I will need to be carrying, phone , inhaler, camera etc, I like it so much I have already started using it

I also just bought the Hidden Magic book for my trip in October. Though I go every year, I was hoping to experience Disneyworld in a whole new way this year with my family. However after reading the book the past few days I have resolved to not put too much time/ effort into the quests heralded in the book. I have already seen lots of outdated and inaccurate information inside it. The most blatant mistake is the author's backstory to the Haunted Mansion. The author identifies the bride as Madame Leota. That is simply not true. Madame Leota is indeed a main character in the mansion but she is only a medium. The bride is named Constance Hatchaway. She was a murderous black widow whose husbands and marriages and subsequentially their murders are chronicled throughout the mansion and especially the attic. I don't understand how one who has thoroughly researched a book could have made such a mistake. Much of what I read that is accurate wasn't anything that I didn't already know. I wished that I would have saved my money for a round of Dole Whips.
