Christmas in January??

Does anybody know how long the Christmas decorations are up for? We really want to see them, but might not be able to make it to DL until January.

Also....
Any idea what the crowds are like around Jan 6, 7, 8th? (That'll be a Tues, Wed, Thu.)

The Holiday Season is supposed to run through January 6, 2015 (Tuesday). Assuming this year is like last year, HMH and JJJ will close on the 7th to begin removal of the holiday overlay. IaSWH will probably remain open until HM re-opens. I would guess that you'll still see some holiday decor throughout that week, but it'll all start to disappear pretty quickly.

You might ask this question on the Christmas/Holiday SuperThread or skim through last year's version to see if folks reported when things started to be removed.

I agree with above poster! We were there last year at this time and although the decorations all do not come down overnight, they come down pretty quickly. We found the crowds do-able, usually between a 20-30 minute wait for most rides, longer for the big ticket rides!

Also try to catch the Christmas parade (at 5:45) on the 6th as it is the last day for it according to the schedule up at Disney. Also ask a CM when IASW will light up as it is something else to see!

According to DL's website, when you look at the park schedule by day, they don't show the HMH overlay to end until the 11th, so it will be down from the 12th to ? That is later than past years, but that's what they are showing now. There are several other refurbs starting the 5th, 6th & 7th. If you look at their daily schedule, you can see them.
