Ok, I need a little help here........we are surprising our 3 little ones with a Christmas trip to Disney. We leave 12/21 and will stay until the 29th. Our present to them is the trip and a "goodie box" which they will recieve on the 21st after they get home from school at 11am........So for presents from Santa? How do we get them there? I think I can hide them on the drive down, but can I hide them in our family suite(ASMu)? And how to handle Christmas morning? Our two oldest do not believe, but the youngest is 5-he definately does!!! (btw, we are going to have santa write him a letter which we will give him on the 21st telling him(DS) that santa will find him in florida).........DH does not want to mail gifts ahead of time. Should we get a little tree down there? Any suggestions would be great!thanks

What a great Christmas. If I were you I would either pack the gifts in some rubbermaid containers and store them in your closet in your room. Or you can call your resort and find out if they can store them for you. They stored a mini fridge for us. I don't see why they wouldn't. I think one of those mini trees would cute. Also I would take some Christmas window clings to put on your window. Also I have seen on the dis boards where people decorate their doors to their rooms. They use butcher paper. You could even let them do some kind of Christmas tree or MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE (YOUR NAME). That would be something to do on your first night when your unpacking they can decorate. Just have fun. It's not Christmas without decorations. Have Fun!

When our son was younger, I just put all his smaller presents in a suitcase and he didn't think anything about it. I left his larger ones at home. Since we picked him up at school, he didn't get back home before we left. We left his other presents under the tree with a note from Santa. When we got home, he went to the tree and there they were. He also got a note from Santa at WDW saying that some of his stuff was at home so we wouldn't have to haul it all home with us.

That's a good idea to bring some toys on the vacation and leave the others, the big ones, at home. Cuz you know what? Going home from WDW sucks totally... so to have something to look forward to... walk home and still have presents... wow that would be awesome, and it would make being home not so bad afterall!

And there are "tree swap" threads... where people will bring little Christmas trees and leave them for the next DIS family in line. I wish I had the link... if I find it, I'll let you know.
