Hi everyone,

Well i know we are only just into July but I have just booked a 5 day stay in a 1 bed at OKW for xmas - 22-27th. The only plans I have made so far is a morning at the spa on xmas eve whilst DH does his xmas shopping !! On xmas day we have breakfast at chef mickeys and dinner at 6pm at cindys. I intend to do MK on xmas day as well. I know it will be packed but as we have been lots of times before I am not too worried about having to do any rides etc.
What I really want info on is any other xmas things to do - EG: Candlelight processional, sliegh rides - any other xmas shows that disney does etc. Also would love to hear about other peoples itinerys for the holiday period and also any other dos or donts.
One other thing - I heard that on xmas morning a certain mouse leaves some candy on your door - however last time I stayed at OKW at xmas it was not there - perhaps he has forgotton us !!

Thanks in advance

Happy 4th everyone.

Sarah.

As corny as it may be, I really enjoyed "Mickey's Twas the Night Before Christmas" show at the Galaxy Theater when we we did Christmas 2004. The Christmas parade that runs during MVMCP runs the entire week of Christmas--and during the day--so videos and pictures come out really well.

The Candlelight Processional is something you should plan on doing. You should book the package as soon as possible--with your dinner you'll have guaranteed seating for the processional. Otherwise, you'll have to wait in a huge line and hope there are extra seats available. If you haven't booked your other dining, get that done now as well. There won't be anything left if you wait until you get there.

We stayed at CS two years ago, and yes, there were little treats waiting for us outside our door. Nothing too special--just a few candies and a card.

Be sure to bring clothing you can layer. Two years ago Christmas and the day after were FREEZING--raining really hard on Christmas Day with temps in the 40s. The next day it didn't rain much but was still in the 40s with lots of wind.

Have a wonderful time. I'm looking forward to spending Christmas at Disney again this year, too. My DH and DS are going down on December 19 to get their vacation started earlier (and get our hotel at PC for under $70 per night), but I won't be arriving until very late on the 22nd (darn those students I need to teach :) ).
