Christmas Holidays?

Hey guys just a quick question.

My family is planning on going on a holiday this summer (well our summer (december) and since we will be going to disney world and want to avoid mass amounts of people (we know someone who went during December one year and they said it was packed) I was wondering when American schools break off for christmas holidays, I've heard its around the 10th of December, is this correct?

Um, my school breaks around the 20th/21st of December. Used to be a bit earlier but they've pushed it back. I'm sure most schools' breaks begin around the 18th~21st, if not later. I'm in Florida.. if that helps?

Anyway, my family usually goes near the beginning of December for a one day trip and it hasn't been *too* busy, but it wasn't as slow as it once was.

If you go around in December past the second week, I'm pretty sure it's going to be packed but with plans, I'm sure you'd be able to manage the crowds.

Every year(except this year) we go in December. Most of the time we go the 12-21. We find it gets busy around the 18. December is my favorite time to go. I find its less busy around the first two weeks. I'm homeschooled so I'm not sure when public schools go on vacation. Have a great time.

The first week of December isn't bad. In fact, it's one of the slowest times of the year for Disney.

I think it usually depends on what day christmas falls on
this year was one of the longer ones but
considering i just looked at the calender on my phone and
christmas happens to fall on a friday so my guess is that my school
will get out the 23rd which is a wednesday and go back on Monday January 4th...thats a guess thought

and everywhere is different and you cant forget that colleges get out early then high/middle/elementary schools do too.

The entire month is going to be packed, sorry. We went the first week of December last year, and it was crazy busy. The parade is usually filmed the first week, which is why the crowds ensue. The others weeks are crowded because of kids being out of school and just the general christmas season.

It wasn't unbearable or anything, and the weather was ridiculously amazing. Have fun.

my break is the 20th of december till the 6th of january!!!
