we are going to book november 9th - the 20th. will we see anything christmas in any of the parks other than magic kingdom?

how about osborne lights? decorations in epcot? a big tree maybe? a tree or decorations in animal kingdom? i read on another site somewhere that even the christmas party at the kingdom isnt well decorated until closer to the end of november? if that is true, why do i pay the same ticket amount? lol

You should see quite a lot of Christmas in November, Sven. We went a couple of years ago, arriving on Oct. 31. We saw Halloween decorations at MK on November 1 (the last HW party date) and the very next morning we went to the Studios, which was completely decked out for Christmas, including carols playing in the restaurants while we ate.

Not sure when the first Osbourne lights typically are, but you can check out previous years.

thank you. i tried to search, but i failed at getting decent results. now that i am not on hold i can look again and maybe refine my criteria to something that makes sense.

You should definitely see Christmas decor during that time. The large tree doesn't go up in MK I think until after they tape the parade which is the first to second week of December, but all the other decorations are up.

AmyB, does this include EPCOT? For some reason, I thought they didn't decorate until after the Food & Wine Festival is over? :confused3

The Osborne Lights are rumored to be up starting November 7th.

Magic Kingdom should have everything up except for the big tree, but you should see all other decorations if you are going to MVMCP.

Christmas decorations go up at the beginning of November (right after Halloween decorations come down.)

You are going at a great time. November is relatively low in price. The crowds are low, and you are leaving before Thanksgiving (when the crowds pick up.)

I'm hoping my book is done by August. Be on the look out for it! If I'm allowed, I'll post the link to it on this site - it'll have everything you need to know!

should be fine in the parks. the big trees should be up at epcot, DHS and AK by the middle of your stay if not the start of it.

the big trees at the resorts (like the GF and WL) probably won't be up till after you leave, but the parks should be in great shape.

you'll just miss things like the epcot storytellers and epcot candlelight processional (which start after thanksgiving).
