Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights-November 8-January 3.

Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade-November 26-January 3.

Isabella Rossellina,Whoopi Goldberg and Jodi Benson have been confirmed for the CP.

Also,the Lights of Winter will not return this year and ALL indications from Disney are that they are gone for good.

I will see you at WDW in December!

I think it was an Epcot display over the walkway leaving FW into WS... twinkling to music or some such nonsense.

I'm with you it was so nice and colorful. I surly will miss them when I go in November. Hope they plan on doing something to replace it.

This is great! I just asked about the Jingle Jungle parade. Wonder if the CP packages are closer to being released with this latest info..

Where did you find this info? I looked on the Disney site, but didn't find as much.

"Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade" should definitely run "at least" through New Year's Day based on past schedules.

I just wanted to add,for anyone who may not know,Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade does not run during regular park hours until after the last MVMCP.It only runs during the Parties until then.

For those wondering why you'd submit a LoW comment on such a random post, the same was done last year by a flurry of individuals when the announcement was made, and that's where Thomas Smith ended up responding (and I believe indicating that they were "obsolete technology").

I can't imagine that a company with the creative and artistic talents that Disney has, can't come up with a way to make the LoW viable. This whole thing about obsolete technology is nuts. Surely there is a way to bring it up to speed. Here's hoping for some magic down the road.

12/31 3:30 PM
1/1 - 1/5 No info

I would catch it on 12/29 or 12/30 if possible.

Speaking of the Country Bears, they haven't done their Xmas show for several years now and they REALLY need to bring it back pronto!

When you all complain about the LoW on the Disney Parks Blog, don't forget to complain about the Bear Jamboree's Xmas overlay as well, reaffirming that you want it back as well.

disney could easily re-do LOW to be energy efficient. they could also return the stage and characters to the tree at EPCOT for tree lighting. they could easily change the country bears to their christmas show, they could return the giant tree to the back lawn of boardwalk (vs. the little one they have now). they could stop reducing the holiday decorations little by little each year. they could return the quality of the food to what it once was.....I can go on.

they have the choice to do any of these things, they just choose not to because they can get away with it.

I tracked down most of the music for LOW years ago because it was one of DH's favorite displays at Christmas. DH STILL doesn't want to listen to it because he misses LOW so much. I promised this year I would have the crisis hotline on speed dial for him when we are there for the holiday.<
