Hi! This is my first post and I see how creative all of you are and I need some help. I'm sorry if I am posting this in the wrong spot. Here goes: Me and my husband took our daughter to Disney World in Feb. of this year and now I booked our next trip back for Feb. of '10. We are planning "give" our daughter the trip for Christmas and I was wondering if any of you could come up with a creative way of doing this (letter or some other idea). This is going to be very hard not to tell her before Christmas. TIA

We did this for DD a few years ago. Everything she got was Disney themed, i.e., books, games, wrapping paper, luggage, dolls, clothes, bought her a purse to use on our trip... I told her that there was a theme and she needed to guess what it was. Even put the tickets in her luggage and let her figure out what they were for and when we were leaving. We were going over MLK weekend, so she only had to wait two a few weeks until we were leaving.

We did a scavenger hunt one year when we gave the kids a trip. We hid little Disney characters or Disney things around the house with notes that told where to look next after about 10 different things the last one said "Now where would you find all of these things in one place?" and they all screamed "DISNEYWORLD!!!"

Enjoy!

I have done some of the above mentioned. and I would also did her stocking with her annual pass..(or tixs if that is what you are getting). I would add disney dollars. I also would put an airline ticket in it for her.

Any little things she needed for the trip to! I would wrap each thing. BUT my DD had a 7 foot stocking so it took some filling up!!

We surprised the kids once. We were actually leaving ON Christmas. So they opened all their presents. Then someone wandered into the living room to find a huge stuffed Mickey with a note- The look on my daughter's face as she read it was priceless. It said something along the lines of you are leaving right now.
And she looked at me (with her 3 brothers) and said NOW?? And I replied YES NOW! Go to the bathroom we have to leave!

Oh that was fun!

How old is she? Is she reading?

I would try to give disney themes gifts like a PP said and have them all wrapped but have here open them in a specific order. Along with each gift, find a spot where you could attach a message. The first gift could be We, next could be Are, 3rd Going, 4th to, 5th Disney World.

Sounds like fun!

Or leave her a Mickey doll in her stocking, or in front of the tree or whatever and put a little poem in Mickey's hand. Something along the lines of Santa leaving him there to tell her that she is going to Disney.

DD is 6 and she can read pretty well. Does anyone know of a poem or letter?

Thanks everyone for the ideas so far. They are all great. Anymore are welcome!
