CHristmas gift- Trip to WDW

WE are giving the kids a trip to WDW for CHristmas, but not going until Jan 17.
Any creative (yet easy) ideas to gift it? I would like to do little clues, and then ultimately give the gift certificate that says we are going.
Keep in mind ages- 5 year old DD and 8 DS.
Don't worry Santa will bring wrapped presents too

We did this when my kids were 4 and 6...We gave them each rolling Disney luggage (I bought inexpensive ones on e-bay) and they searched around the house for clues..Each "clue" had a disney theme attached to it (stuffed mickey/underwear/sunglasses/etc..All things they might need for a vacation...It was great! Have fun with it..
