Looking for ideas on delicious food gifts to send for a few elderly relatives this year. I know of harry & David and a a few others but wondering if anyone could recommend some less well known but delicious options. Open to anything sweets, savories -- thanks

The Cost Plus World Market has a few good choices. I just purchased the Bonne Maman Preserves Advent Calendar . You know these preserves because the red & white check lid and usually a small size at some restaurants for you toast or room breakfast room delivery.
If you love Sees Candies or William Sonoma . Bissinger Chocolates handmade in St. Louis since forever.... favorite place to get my chocolate Santa’s or Easter Bunnies every year... and hope somebody gets me their Bear Claws or turtles with caramel & pecans dipped in chocolate. I’m thinking about the Harry & David assorted popcorn for a gift also...
I’ll keep searching!

Target just had a Gourmet Cheese box in the refrigerated foods section.
I think it was a boxed gift set of 12 .

They come with instructions for heating and omg, we had them with queso and also with mustard. Several delicious happy hours for sure!

Burgers Smokehouse has delicious smoked hams, turkey breast, bacon, sausages & lots of great gift boxes too.

I use Goldbelly for food gifts every Christmas.
You can order from restaurants all over the US and have them delivered.

The ckruegers.com has a new Sampler box of butter pecan cookies... what is your favorite suggestion?

Admittedly I've only had the iced sugar cookies and they are absolutely wonderful. But we sent all our moms (DH's parents are divorced, so we have two on that side) variety packs for Mothers Day this year and they raved about them all.

Mrs prindables makes delicious caramel apples

Everytime we see them we are amazed anyone could eat a whole one! Would be great for sharing!!

I've ordered gifts from Wolfermans before (part of the H&D family) for neighbors & for ourselves as well, their english muffins are wonderful.

I'll be the lone dissenter, and say that I didn't like the Wolferman's English muffins we received as a gift last year. I wanted to like them--the flavors looked interesting--but they were very dense and undercooked. They were actually doughy inside. I didn't tell the gift giver, as I didn't want to hurt their feelings.

Hopefully, others have better luck than we did. Maybe we just got a bad batch.

Sees candies are fabulous and we always send MIL and my parents a box because they used to live in CA and now live on the east coast.

Harry and David is also a favorite. Their monthly fruit subscriptions are very good. These are especially good for people who live in states where fresh produce is hard to come by year round.

William's Sonoma has amazing pastries that ship deep frozen that can be baked at home. They also have a fun collection of Christmas themed food gifts.

Probably not the best gift for older folks, but I love to send Funky Monkey Popcorn as thank you and holiday gifts

I second both of these! We order often from both for our own enjoyment, but I send Goldbelly gifts often with fabulous results. Pies, cakes, macarons, bbq, etc.
