At IOA...there is Grinchmas which is really funny and at the Studios there is the Macy's parade and the Christmas concert series on Saturday nights. I would expect the WWoHP to factor in somewhere for this year but no one knows as of yet.

They usually run through January 1st so you should be good.

We're seriously considering going 12/25 - 1/1. I'm hoping for a lot of special, Christmas activities. We've never been that time of year. I really like the idea of being surrounded by the Christmas spirit through NYE.

What's your thoughts on going that week? We were all set to book a hotel, then I read FJ doesn't have FOTL yet. Normally we wouldn't care, but my DS's GF is crazy about Harry Potter. She can't wait to go to UO, just to see the HP attractions & shops. So, that's what we plan to give them as their gift from Santa. I would hate to get there & them not even be able to get near it. I can't decide if we should go for it, or go another time.

If only UO hadn't already spoiled us with their golden ticket (aka room key).

The first weekend in December is when the festivities usually start but the decorations go up in early November.

Don't do it. I guess with FOTL, it won't be a COMPLETE suicide mission, but still. Don't count on breathing. The most space you'll have to yourself all week in the parks is in the ride vehicle.

All the holiday festivities are included in park admission...even the holiday concerts. Grinchmas and the Macy's parade are during the day/evening and the concerts are at night at the Studios. Universal doesn't have a night time party like MVMCP so everyone can enjoy everything.
