Does that start earlier than the day after Thanksgiving-Like tree lighting, parades, etc.?

Thanks

The decorations are up & HM & IASW are Christmas themed the first week in November. The fireworks & snow are usually about that time, as well as the tree, cookie decorating, etc. The next week you'll have Santa, carolers, etc., and the parade usually starts on Thanksgiving day. The Candlelight Processional is usually the first weekend.

Of course, these days may change slightly depending on what is going on at Disneyland at the time.

Last year, the parade started the Friday before Thanksgiving (I believe it's done the same the last few years). I attended the taping for the WDW Very Merry Christmas Parade and saw the full parade that evening.

Is the Candlelight Processional ONLY on the first weekend or do they have it thru the week? We're planning a holiday trip to DL this year instead of WDW.

At DL it is usually only the one weekend. This past Christmas it was Dec 3 & 4
