Christmas Dis meet?

As the dis meet at tony romas is always really good, just wondering what everyone thinks about having another one later this year? If it was november or december time it could be a xmas dis meet

There is meant to be one in November in Manchester, not sure if its still going ahead.
Think a couple each year would be good as not everyone can get to them when theyre so far away. For the last one there seemed to be loads going away on holiday

I'm hoping this is still going ahead...last we all discussed, we'd narrowed it down to November and the 3rd or 4th weekend

If you can't make a Dis meet then organise one of your own closer to where you live. Dissers live throughout the country and the meets only happen because one of them makes the decision to arrange something - there's nothing to say that can't be you

id love to arrange them but with two small kids at home the only time i get on here is when theyre asleep
ive tried to find a way to the manchester one but city centres impossible for me

I think the reason we decided on the city centre was that it was easier transport wise as people can get in by train etc. Not everyone has a car to get to other places

I wasnt disputing that, its just not an easy place for us with babys/toddlers as a few people have said. getting a single buggy on and off trains (which I would have to take) would be hard never mind a double

Being near christmas it opens up a lot of places you cant normally book at to book....of course also limiting you to a set menu though.
