After reading (on Deb Wills' site) the listing of food offererd at various restaurants around the World, we are seriously thinking of switching our ADR from Artist Point to Trail's End. We know and love the menu at AP but the listing for TE sounds so nice and traditional we thought it might be fun to give it a try.

Does anyone want to share prior Christmas Dinner experiences from here? Thanks in advance! :wave2:

We had our Christmas Eve dinner at TE last year. It was really good. Everything was hot and tasty. Very traditional offerings. On our Christmas trip next year, it will be TE again for Christmas.

for your reply. Anyone else have any Christmas Dinner comments about Trail's End? thanks in advance! :goodvibes

We have an ADR at trail's end for Christmas. I've eaten there a few times, but not a holiday meal. I like it - it is simple, not an upscale setting by any means - it is sort of "old school disney world at fort wilderness."

I am confident that the buffet will be good. I'm really not that much of a buffet person, but something sounds really nice about being able to pick whatever you want and however much you want on Christmas.

We went ahead and added the dining package thing, so I went back and read through the menus at the other places. I've been to artist point several times, and I'm sure the meal there would be great. No doubt.

To me it sort of came down to getting whatever you want - if it is pizza or turkey or whatever. That sounds sort of fun to me for Christmas, and we have other sit down meals during the trip. But if you wanted something a little more on the elegant side, I'd stick with Artist point. I don't think either one would be a bad choice.

We have eaten at AP many times, and have had a Christmas Dinner there in the past too. We decided, as you did, that the Trail's End menu looked "inviting" for a holiday meal, for the same reasons you did. Who can pass up the chance to have all the favorites you had as a child? :teeth:

Thanks again for the reply!

Listen, if there is a family there with a toddler who acts out and bugs you, it isn't us.
