Christmas Dinner for strict Catholic

Which is the best character meal to eat at on Christmas eve?

We are strict Catholics and only eat fish but want to eat at a character meal.

Any ideas? Thanks

Cape May Buffet.

Cape May is not a character meal for dinner, only breakfast.

Most of the character buffets will have some type of fish on them. Also, CRT has salmon at lunch, and most likely dinner as well.

"Old school" Catholics don't eat meat on ANY Friday and Christmas Eve this year is on Friday.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Norway in Epcot. It has Salmon and Mahi Mahi, however, there does not appear to be any fish on the kids menu, although if you paid for a kids meal, I can't imagine they would have an issue with you sharing your fish.

Crystal Palace had salmon and peel and eat shrimp last Weds night. They had mac and cheese for the kids too.

All buffets will have numerous choices that are prepared without meat. Fish is not the only choice while fasting. Have a happy trip.

If you definitely want a character dinner, you are limited to:
1900 Park Fare
Akershus
Cinderella's Royal Table
Chef Mickey's
Garden Grill
Crystal Palace

Most buffets (PF, Akershus, CM and CP) will have at least 2 seafood items on the buffet and several vegetarian options. It is impossible to predict exactly what because items are always changing.

CRT has a plated menu, which includes a crab soup and a salmon dish or vegetarian pasta dish.

GG is family style and does offer fish, but also two or three other meats. I am sure they could "hold the meat" and offer you more fish since it is all you can eat.

If you have your heart set on a huge variety of seafood, maybe you could switch your character meal to a day before or after so you could do a primarily seafood restaurant on Christmas Eve?

Yes, and Italians must have an odd number of fish dishes(traditionally 7) .

No, CMC is not a character meal at dinner but the buffet will have clams, mussels, peel & eat shrimp, crab legs & some sort of flat/scaled fish such as mahi/flounder/salmon.
