Christmas Dinner at Raglan Road

I was just wondering if anyone has eaten at Raglan Road for dinner on Christmas day?
If so, I was wondering what the atmosphere was like, and if the entertainment was there that evening....and what was your overall impression?

I have never eaten there, but the menu looks pretty good. Also, if anyone has eaten there for Christmas did they have a special menu?

If you have any other suggestions on where to eat Dec 25th I would welcome that as well.
We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids.... I think they would enjoy the live entertainment if in fact they are playing Christmas day.

I have not eaten there on Christmas Day but, I felt the need to comment. Their food is very good and if you do decide to go, make sure you order the Bread and Butter Pudding for dessert. We don't make a trip to Disney without eating it. It is out of this world!

Raglan Road will serve a special menu on Christmas Day along with their normal dinner menu. I do not know about the entertainment or anything like that, but you can always email them from their website at http://www.raglanroad.com/. They are wonderful about answering their emails.

As for the restaurant in general, it is my number one restaurant in Disney. I can not visit the area without eating there at least once. By FAR the best meals I have had at Disney.

My family of 8 will be dining there on Christmas this year, but it will be our first time. My kids are all excited about it though.

. . . nitrogen (approx 78%)
. . . oxygen (approx 21%)
. . . lesser amts of argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, neon, helium, and other gases
2) As for activities
. . . irish dancing
. . . lots of irish whiskey and scotch whisky
. . . good irish music
. . . lots of irish whiskey and scotch whiskey
. . . oh, and LOTS of guiness
3) Nice, pleasant homey/pub feel.

Visited Raglan Road last week for the very first time... How have I not done this before! Love this place. Being there on Christmas sounds wonderful; I bet it will be a fun night. The staff is so wonderful (not to mention the food)!

The new pork belly and scallop gnocchi was terrific. Maybe the best Disney meal I've had in years. And the bread pudding tip was spot-on.

Raglan Road is my family's #1 place too. You can't go wrong. My kids were 5 and 3 when we started going to Raglan Road and are 9 and 6 today and they INSIST we eat there twice each trip. I've unfortunately not been there on Christmas but I'd go if I was in town that night.

Just make sure you request a table near the main stage and let them know you're willing to wait for it. Sitting way off in another room defeats the entire purpose of visiting an Irish Pub. IMHO.

We loved the house band when we were there last week. Also loved the salmon appetizer. We had several appetizers to share; we ended up ordering two of that one. Yum.
