Where do you think the best place to have Christmas dinner would be in The World? I have two sons, who are ten and twelve and am looking for somewhere special to eat on Christmas

Chef Mickey's has a Christmas brunch that always books really quickly. Cape May has a Christmas menu. Whispering Canyon, I believe has a Christmas menu and Wilderness Lodge where it is located is so beautiful at Christmas time. The kids would probably love the antics at Whispering canyon. If you want to brave the madness of MK on Christmas day, Liberty Tree Tavern would be a great option. You'd have to be at MK from opening though because it closes do to capacity on Christmas day.

Good luck choosing!:wizard:

4 year ago when my wife and I took my parents and 2 aunts with us we did dinner on Christmas Eve at Narcossees. We had no children in our party but there was just so many great things going on at the Grand Floridian we had no desire to go back into the parks. If we had kids we would still do the same location even if we went with another restaurant. There were a tone of charachters out.

We have eaten at Liberty Tree Tavern for Christmas dinner. They make a wonderful dinner for that day. Felt VERY traditional Christmas in there too and I bet you would all really enjoy it.

Does anyone know what they serve at Whispering Canyon for the Christmas dinner? Are the antics still a part of the meal. My son would like to eat there again. He saw someone get put behind bars to eat and he wants to figure out what to do so that he can eat that way!

We have been to wdw for the pat 5 xmas weeks. Just to begin, we never go to a park on the xmas holiday..we open gifts have a nice late breakfast(usually 1900PF so we can see the gingerbread house) then either shop at DTD, see a movie, play mini-golf, etc and relax at resort then go to dinner at one of the resorts. Once we ate xmas dinner at California Grill when dh was 12 and got to see Wishes from there(adr was 9:00pm but we were there by 8:45pm and given the choice to watch from our table or go out to deck;1/2 stayed and 1/2 went out); great meal and service. Another year we at at Artist Point in WL and this was also great meal and the tree in the lobby along with the rocking chairs at the fireplace, put you in the holiday spirit! When we have been there for xmas eve, we went into Epcot and did CP package with dinner at Le Cellier and saw 8:15pm show(real,y brings the holiday to life!) and Illuminations after then back to resort for xmas sleep and morning!
