I have ADRs for both AP and Citrisos, not sure which on I should take. I know asking opinions is not the way to go because we all have our own tastes but HELP, it is driving me crazy trying to decide. I didn't know how to do a poll voting so this is the only way I can get feedback. Thanks so much, eating at DW can be frustrating but on Christmas day it is more so. :)

Had Christmas dinner @AP last year (2007) and it was wonderful! :cloud9:
The Lodge is decorated so beautifully @Christmas!
Bonus: Mickey & Minnie were in the lobby for meet & greet/photo ops! :santa:

Whichever you decide on, please be sure to cancel the other right away. Your double-booking is preventing someone else from getting an ADR for their Christmas dinner.

I think I would choose Artist Point also. Our last couple of times at Citricos have been a bit iffy. Have a great time!:)

This is the first time I doubled booked, I never do that because it isnt fair to people who want to book that resturant and can't. But to be honest why are all the 2 TS booked untill later on Christmas day, because people double book. I told the CM I already had a ADR for somewhere else, she said it didn't matter I coould do as many as I want and cancel the ones you dont want so that is what I am doing for Christmas dinner, lets face it, people think of themselves because they want the trip to be perfect , I dont blame them at all. , i still have to decide, you WDWRich will be the first to know what i am doing

I'm not so sure we can make the assumption that the 2 TS places are booked up due to double-booking. Christmas is the busiest time of the year at WDW and that has to have an effect on restaurant ADRs. In any case, DW and I really enjoyed our meal at AP (not Christmas), so of the two you mentioned, I would go with AP.

Thanks, that's all I was asking and trying to get feedback from others.I know that people like Cape May Clam Bake but I thought it was the worst meal I have ever had at DW, that s coming from someone that is from New England and have some of the best seafood around. We have made up our minds, we are staying with AP, I think that lodge feeling while having dinner is gonna be a warm and Chrismasy one.

Have a great trip, and meal at AP! We are planning to eat there in April with friends who have never been to WDW. Can't wait!!:)

Personally, I thought AP was very nice, but my fave restaurant is Citrico's and the GF's decorations for the Christmas Holidays are incredible.

I'm one of those people trying to get 1 Christmas reservation. Does anyone know if Citricos has a special menu for Christmas?

I have been told Christmas menus are not out yet, I have been inquiring about AP :) They tell me it is to early yet.

I really like both places, but lately, AP has gotten the nod from the family.

It depends on your style. Are you "Christmas is a dress up more formal event" (Citricos) or the "Christmas is a relaxing family day" (AP). If I were traveling with others that would affect my decision too.

I think Artist Point will be lovely. Take the time to sit by the fireplace in the lobby, or up on the 4th floor overlook. Walk over to the VWL and play a game of checkers or relax in the quiet of the villa lobby. What a great way to enjoy Christmas! I'm jealous!:)
