Does Aulani traditionally do a Christmas Day dinner besides the holiday menu offerings at ‘AMA’AMA and Makahiki? I found the following information for last year's dinner:
This sounds very similar to the Thanksgiving Dinner that's held at the Disneyland Hotel every year, which we adore. Can we expect something like this again at Aulani this year?
I see @Spokavegas posted information for Aulani's Thanksgiving Dinner in that separate thread. Where can I find this kind of information if and when it's announced for Christmas? I don't see any post about the Thanksgiving Dinner on the Disney Parks Blog. Having experienced booking the Thanksgiving Dinner at Disneyland just about every year, I totally agree with @Spokavegas that these special holiday dinners sell out and I don't want our family to miss out.
You can indulge in a traditional holiday feast in Paradise, complete with island flair and a dash of Disney magic. Featuring live local entertainment and visits from Disney Characters, who’ll drop by for photo opportunities, this festive Christmas dinner offers you food, fun and family memories to cherish forever.
Served in the Kaiona Ballroom, the first seating is from 4-6 p.m. and the second seating is from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The cost is $87.50 for Guests ages 10 and up; $43.75 for children ages 3-9 (tax and gratuity included). Complimentary self-parking for 4 hours for non-Resort Guests is included. Casual attire is recommended. (The following are not permitted: baseball caps, board shorts, swimsuits and ripped or torn jeans and—for men—tank tops and sleeveless shirts.)
Reservations are now open for Resort Guests, and will open to non-resort Guests (subject to availability) on Dec. 15, 2015.
