Christmas Decorations

Last year we went to Disney the Halloween week and the day after Halloween Christmas stuff was already up! It was amazing.

I thought I heard the first Castle lighting is 11/6, and I know there is a MNSSHP on 11/1. but will there be christmas decorations up 11/2 or 11/3? Or will they wait for the day of the first lighting?

Usually they decorate the MK for Christmas the night after the last Halloween Party. The Resorts and other Parks etc come later near Thanksgiving time. The Castle already has it's lights up. They just won't turn them on til the first Christmas party

MK has a history of turning on the Castle Ice/Dream/Frozen Lights for several nights before the first MVMCP.
Exactly when that happens this year is still unknown.

wdwent.com is posting the Castle Lighting Show begins nightly on November 9th for all guests; yet the first MVMCP is on November 8th:

"A Frozen Holiday Wish" is the stage show which does, indeed, run as a "lighting ceremony" for the Castle.

But, MK has turned on the Lights (without the stage show) several nights before the first MVMCP.
They also turn them on for a week to 10 days, or so, into January (without the stage show.)

In the first years of Frozen Holiday Wish, they did perform the stage show prior to the first MVMCP because Steve Soares always had it listed on wdwent.

Dream Along with Mickey got booed between the performances of the Castle Lighting.

Disney must just be cutting back on show pay if they turn on the Castle Lights without the show.
