Christmas Decorations

I know this question is asked all the time and I have read the answer numerous times, but the search isnt working for me right now. My aunt asked me the other day when the Christmas decorations go up, cause she wants to take her daughter to Disneyworld for the first time I believe in November some time, maybe Thanksgiving. Does anyone know if it is the beginning of November or if there is a certain date or event that starts the Christmas season in Disney? Thanks in advance for your help.

Holiday decorations will be up in parks and resorts by mid Nov. Danny

Everything in the parks is up around the middle of November and most of the resorts are done by the third to fourth week in November.... I would suggest going toward the last week of November if you can.... You may want to avoid Thanksgiving, so around the 20th might work best.

The general start of the Christmas season at WDW is the first night of the MVMCP, which is also the first night of the Jingle Jungle Parade at AK and the Osborne Lights at DHS. Most decorations in those parks are up by this time. This year the first night of MVMCP is supposed to be November 10.

At Epcot, the "Holidays Around the World" celebration starts a bit later. Look for the special Christmas events, like the Lights of Winter and the Candlelight Processional, to begin around Thanksgiving day.
