Christmas decorations in November?

How early in November will Christmas decorations be up at the resorts? I thought I saw a schedule posted on here last year of when all the decorations go up - can't find it!

Well, I dont have a schedule for you, but I know on our honeymoon in 2002, there were no decorations up at POR where we stayed, but when we went to BW to eat, they had the big tree up in front, and they were in the process of decorating around it. I dont remember exactly what day we were there, but we were in fWDW for the 11-17 of November.

We went the first week of November and stayed at ***. They started putting up the decorations while we were there... but I didn't see any elsewhere. I think we left about the 5th so it was very early in the month. They have them all up by Thanksgiving weekend... and we're talking about A LOT of decorations so I'm sure you'll see some of them!

In 2001 we were at POR in early Nov. On the day we left we woke up to find a huge Christmas tree in the main lobby!! So, the resorts start decorating pretty early.

We stayed at the AKL Nov.10th-15th 2004. They decorated on the night of the 13th. I believe. The GF was decorated before that as was the Poly. Hope this helps!

Hi,
We are going November 20-28 and I was told the decorations would be all up the day after Thanksgiving. Including the osborne lights. I think Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party starts on the 29th as well.

At the end of november when I was there it was gorgeous! So probably like between

NOV 10th-NOV 24th

We went last year for Nov 12-15 and there were some decorations up... I have never been there at Christmas time before so I do not know how much they usualluy put up.

We stayed at All Star Sports and they had Christmas trees up, and the parks had some decorations.

I've found that the resorts tend to all decorate at different times. But typically MK has their decorations up the day after Thanksgiving. Always such a nice treat walking into the park that morning. I don't see how they get it done in one night!

I was there last year, I think it was Nov 6-13 or right around there. I visited all the hotels and everyone of them were decorated. The day I was leaving BWI to come home, they were bringing in many pointsettas (sp) and they were going to make something ( I think a tree) with em but I couldnt wait, I was leaving and had to get to the airport

We arrived at POR last year on November 10th and I couldn't believe it when I saw the huge Christmas tree in the middle of the lobby. I can't wait to see it again when we go this November!!!

I am so excited to read about the decorations going up before Thanksgiving! We are going to be there from the 12-19. I would make for a perfect trip if we could feel the Christmas spirit while we were there!

Oh yes we stayed at alot of resorts and there was trees and everything you can imagine!

We were at Disney/MGM 3 weeks ago, and the Osboune lights were almost all up already. The timing of the decorations going up varies from resort to resort and from park to park from year to year, but everything will be up and runing the day after Thanksgiving.
