That's interesting. I guess there are extra lights especially associated with the Epcot and DHS decorations but so many of the decorations are "things" like trees with massive ornaments that I didn't really think about extra cost to have them go up earlier....
Especially the gingerbread houses...lol...they don't need power
Although the carousel does.
So I guess it the power bill that is causing the delay?
Ah well...so long as they go up eventually![]()
I really don't understand their reasoning and to be honest, who understands how a Mouse thinks anyway?

I do know the that the Osborne lights were officially scheduled to go up earlier and the date was posted on the Disney website. Then one day the date was changed until the end of Thanksgiving or the first of December. I contacted Guest Relations to inquire why and I was told that all decoration instillations had been moved to a later date and they didn't know why.
The crews that installed the resort decorations made comments that the amount of decorations had been cut back significantly. Some of the installers were former Disney employees who had been laid off and were brought back under contract just to do the installs.
