Christmas Decorations in early November

My daughter is planning a Disney Honeymoon for the week of November 9th. She doesn't want it to be a "Christmas" trip. I know Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will have already started. She is not planning to go to that. Are the parks already decorated for Christmas or is it just at the party? We are planning a big family trip for December of 2016 so she doesn't want to experience all that this year.

Thanks
Stacie

The Mk will be fully decorated except for the tree up front. Not sure how quickly the other parks and hotels will be but I would expect by the end of the week to see something.

The GF gingerbread house is usually done by around the 16th or so and take some time to do so it should be started around that week.

There will certainly be a Christmas presence in the parks Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Stuidios (if they do Osborn lights this year) will be decorated fully. Epcot and AK will start transitioning over right around that time, but towards the end of her trip. The resorts will start changing over mid month, so likely during her trip. There will likely be a lot of Christmas music in the park too.

Last year the Osborne Lights at HS started on Nov 7, so I would expect HS to be decorated as well. I think she's out of luck as far as decorations are concerned. Most of them will be up or going up. She doesn't have to go to the party or see Osborne if she doesn't want to, but the decorations will probably be in all the parks and maybe even the resorts.

MK, HS, and DTD will be fully decorated the first week of November...after that Deluxe resorts start decorated followed by all other resorts. Most resorts are decorated by mid November. EPCOT does not start their Christmas extras until the day after Thanksgiving, but expect it to be decorated the week before Thanksgiving.

The decorations will start going up, for sure, but it won't be a Christmas overload.

If memory serves me right, I think the Halloween decorations stayed up a little longer this year - but I think that was due to the change on Main Street (change from garland to the wreaths.) Otherwise, once Nov. 1st hits, they usually start to transition over to Christmas. The resorts may not be decked out, but you will find some decorations in the parks.
