Christmas decorations at Disney?

When do the Christmas lights go on at Disney?

We are leaving Disney on Nov. 6 to go to Vero Beach and then we were going to Captiva and then back to Disney on Dec. 10. Now our resort on Captiva will not be open thanks to Charley.

We're trying to decide what to do. I really love the Christmas spectacular at MGM and don't want to miss it.

We have reservations at BWV for 4 nights beginning Dec. 10 but I don't want to have to find someplace to stay from Nov. 13 to Dec. 10. I could change my reservations (if I could get them) but I don't know when the lights will be on.

Sorry this is so long, but I'm trying to decide what to do. To make my decision harder we have a Nov. 28 reservation on Sanibel that we don't know yet if we can get in.

I don't know what to tell ya...other than, WDW "generally" will start putting up Xmas decorations about 11/20....some earlier, some later.

personally- I'd just go, and have FUN!
