Christmas Decorations at Disney - when?

How early in the year does Disney put up its Christmas decorations?

They usually start going up before Thanksgiving. By the day after Thanksgiving, they are all up. Some magically overnight.

The Holiday Services Team usually starts with interiors and resorts begining November 1st. The park exteriors (because they are the most recognizable) are magically transformed overnight on Thanksgiving and ready on Friday morning so no one gets upset that they're not acknowledging the importance of Thanksgiving.

And soooooo worth it! Christmas is my favorite time of year at WDW. Everything is so ammazing and beautiful. I love to resort hop and check out all the differant gi-hugic gingerbread houses!

The Osborne Lights are our favorite attraction in the world. They open 11/24 and we can hardly wait! It really makes it feel like Christmas-----especially the year we were there and temps dropped into the 30's at night.

they actually list the schedule of what resorts/parks are to be decorated. We had that last year the week before Thanksgiving and used it be sure we saw all the parks decorated. It was neat to see a park "plain" one day and all decorated the next!
