Christmas Decorations and programs - WHEN do they begin?

We are cruising Dec.1-4th, 2005 on the Wonder. Wondering WHEN do the Christmas decorations go up - is it similair to the parks - decorations and programming up and starting right after Thanksgiving Day?? Not sure I want to leave "the World" for a cruise BECAUSE I love the Christmas atmosphere there SO much!!!!!!!! Just hoping the cruise portion of our vacation will be as "Christmassy" as the land portion!!!!!!!!

We cruised last year. December 9th-12th, The ship was all decked out for the holidays and so was Castaway Cay.

The ship is very Christmasy the same as WDW right after Thanksgiving.

the ships tend to be decorated for Christmas by mid-November.

When we've been on past cruises (around the 12th or 14th of November), the Wonder has already been decorates.

We sailed 11/13/04 and the terminal was decorated when we arrived and the ship became MORE decorated as the week went on....it is just BEAUTIFUL!

CC was not decorated our week but I beleive the next week 11/20 was the Thanksgiving Day sailing and it was finished by then.

has anyone ever seen any hanukkah decorations at disney in any of the parks or on the cruise line?
