Christmas Decorations after Christmas

We were hoping next year that we might start getting to Disney around Christmastime to see all the decorations. However I'll probably be in school up until a few days before (if I get into the nursing program I applied for), so we were thinking about getting there December 29th and staying through January 5th. Does anyone know if there will still be a holiday atmosphere?? Will the decorations still be up?? I know we'll miss MCMVP-- unfortunately we'll have to save that one for another year.

They started to put the X-mas stuff up all ready. We were at the mnsshp on the 31 came back the next day and they started all ready...

I remember reading somewhere that the Christmas decorations are up until the end of December. I am not 100% as I have read so much about Disney lately everything is a blur.

We have not been there after Christmas personally, but if you will click on the search link on the blue bar above and type in Christmas Decorations I believe you will find your answer. I read on there somewhere that the decorations start coming down around January 7th. Hope this helps

They begin taking down the more suttle decorations on Dec 26 in order to prepare for NYE. However all the main Christmas Trees will be up until about Jan 2. Trees come down real quick because the Disney Marathon is the weekend after.

We have been there many times over the holidays, as stated the decorations are up till around the 7th. With the trees comming down around the 2nd or 3rd. But we did see them up till the 6th about 4 years ago.!
My kids thought is was funny that one night there all up them "POOOOOF" the next morning there all gone!!
