Christmas Decoration Schedule

I know it's probably top secret hush hush stuff but.....

I was wondering if anyone knew of (or could speculate based on the past) when the individual deluxe resorts would get their Christmas decorations and gingerbread creations?

Also, if you are there and see a hotel decorated, could you drop by here and let us know? THANKS!

i don't have dates, but i remember the decorations and gingerbread house at GF being up by the first/second week of November.

Someone over on the resort thread said the GF Gingerbread house opens on 11/14..

the decorations start going up at the beginning of november.

the hotel lobbies (especially the one with the big trees) are not complete till the week of thanksgiving. last year i think most of the big trees were up the saturday before thanksgiving.

i suspect the gingerbread house at GF is earlier because it's a revenue producer.

last year it seemed like the gingerbread lobby creation at BWI was later than usual - but i don't know for sure when it showed up.

Last year we went from Thursday of the week before Thanksgiving to Black Friday and they put the decorations up at AKL the first night. Other than that, everything else was already decorated as we walked around. This year we are going a little earlier so I'm hoping that everything is decorated before we get there!

Also, I think Boardwalk had a new design last year and that was the reason for the delay if I remember correctly. Thanks guys!

We were there last year from Nov.16 to Nov. 23rd, so the week before the week of Thanksgiving. During that week, we saw the Christmas decorations at BC, GF, CR, and WL. We SAW(don't know when they went up) the decorations at CR on 11/16, GF on 11/17, BC on 11/18, and I know the decorations for the WL (we were staying there), including the big tree, went up on the night of 11/18. The gingerbread creation at YC was not up when we stopped on 11/18, the decorations, including the tree, were not up at AKL when were there on 11/19 and we never made it to BWI.
