Hi everyone,
Our family of 4 (2 girls 9 and 5) planning out 1st ever Disney trip at Christmas time. We have been many other times (I am a school teacher) but never at Christmas. I am a season pass holder as well. We do have tickets to Mickey's very merry christmas and a supper reservation to get preferred seating at candlelight show at Epcot. Our plan is to do mornings till after lunch and go back (All Star Sports) and rest and start over again at supper time.

Some questions
1. Can you park at Epcot and take monorail to MK?
2. Should we use all our fast passes in the mornings?
3. How hard is it to navigate with a stroller?
4. Any Christmas stuff at AK?

Thanks for all your help

Yes you can park at EP and monorail to MK, but if doing it in the evening, be sure to watch your closing times. You don't want to be stuck at MK with no monorail going to EP.

FP+ would depend on which park had my must do rides.

Navigating with or without a stroller is going to be a mess, but definitely harder with one.

AK will be decorated, but as of right now, there is nothing special going on there for Christmas.

You may find you don't need that afternoon break. If you're park hopping, just that ride to the 2nd park could be enough of a rest. The 24th could POSSIBLY see a tiered closure at MK, so if that is your evening park, keep an eye on that through the MDE app.

We will probably see you there!! December 19-22nd is our trip. :) We are experienced Christmas visitors and we love it. I would say the first few days of your trip probably won't be too bad. Busy, yes, but not crazy. The 24th may be crazy though, Christmas Eve is a popular day.

Do you have fast passes made yet? I think most people try to make them for late morning/early afternoon so they can get a 4th later. I've heard it's hard to get a 4th around Christmas time, that usually there aren't many good ones left so I don't know how important it is really. Just get the fast passes you really want, no matter what the times, and get to the park early with a good plan in place.

It's hard to navigate with a stroller but only because everyone else has one too. Disney is stroller friendly though!

They have a big Christmas tree at AK and pretty decorations but no other Christmas events that I remember.

Thanks for the info. We will not be at the parks on the 24th....heading home that morning back to NC. We do have all of our fast passes done but we could not get one for the Frozen ride. We keep looking for a breakfast early one morning at Epcot but no luck so far.
Do you do breaks in the afternoon or do you just go all day long?
Are there any good magic shots for christmas? we have memory maker.
This is the 1st time I have had a season pass. Any perks with that at christmas?
Thanks again for all the advice and tips

Do you do breaks in the afternoon or do you just go all day long?

Our December trip, we went all day long. We did park hop, so that provided a respite from the hustle of the parks, but you don't have to. Plan a TS lunch or at least sit down for a longer QS lunch. Do some of the shows or longer ride attractions in the middle of the afternoon to get off your feet. Get on the monorail and ride the loop a couple times.

My picture over there is from that trip, and my boys were 6 and 10. They did great and didn't need the break in the middle of the day. We all slept really well at night, though!

Our thinking was that by staying later at night alot of the kids rides will not be as long. 2 of the nights have the 10-midnight extra hours and the other night we will be at MVMC till very late.

I don't think we had any midnight nights. 11:00 was probably our latest. If you're going to be staying that late EVERY night, you probably will need either an afternoon break one day or a later start on that third morning.

Raleigh here.

Thanks...GO PACK
Its almost basketball season!!!!
Any advice on how to maybe get on the frozen ride?
