What do people seem to wear on Christmas day at the parks??
Do people dress in their Christmas finest??

We are not touring any parks that day, but we will be heading to Epcot just for dinner.
Would we look unusual in the family was dressed in nice Christmas outfits?

This must seem a silly question!!

Not silly at all. There was a thread on this a while ago, and it seems like the consensus was to stay casual.
I was wondering about Christmas Eve myself. We are eating at Le Cellier and doing the CP, so I wanted to look somewhat nice...but we will be touring Epcot for a while before hand, so dressing up seems crazy.
Christmas we will be casual, like it usually is for us(Christmas Eve is usually our dressy time), as we are just having breakfast in the castle, touring resorts, and taking a sleigh ride. I think for Christmas Eve Ive decided to wear a nice pair of jeans, with a nice red sweater(Im assuming it will be cool enough for this). But once I get packing I may come up with new ideas, LOL!

I am going to go out on a limb here and suggest "clothes"!!!! :smooth: J/K

I think you would do best to keep it casual. Practically no telling what the weather will be on X-mas day. I live in central FL and some years it is sweater or light jacket weather, while some I could wear a t-shirt and shorts!! I doubt that you would see many others "dressed up." But if that is the way your family wants to celebrate it, I think you should go for it. I would much prefer to see someone in dressed up holiday wear than tight neon spandex and a tube top!!! :scared:

I'm not sure what we are going to wear. But I was curious to know if we would be the odd-balls by wearing something 'nice'. I was thinking of keeping it casual/nice. We are having breakfast at Whispering Canyon and dinner at LeCellier.

CamColt- How wild that we are both going for Christmas and celebrating a birthday AND eating at LeCellier! Too bad your eating there on Christmas Eve.;) Where are you staying??

The parks are still "regular" with a few more holiday sweaters and sweatshirts to be seen. My first Christmas trip I planned on "dressing up" for dinner in France. It was so cold that I had to scratch that idea and just wear anything to keep warm! Scraped frost off the car that morning and I think the high that day was around 40. My next Christmas it was beautiful warm weather. Of course, you are free to do whatever makes you feel comfortable. The slightly more dressed up crowd can be found in the resort restaurants.

Happy Birthday & Merry Christmas! One of the reasons we are going this year is because DH forgot my birthday last year, LOL! Guilt is a great thing. ;)
We will be at the Swan from 12/20-12/24, then moving to the Poly, 12/24-12/29. How about you?

We are staying in 2 rooms at Pop Century from 12/18 to 1/1/04.

And I hope yours is a Happy Birthday and a Very Merry Christmas too!!!

We are skipping the parks on Christmas day and will be casual until dinner at Artist Point. I do plan on all of us dressing up a bit more in the evening.

I did buy a great Mickey Mouse with Santa hat pendant from Avon that I will wear as a zipper pull on my fleece throughout the week!

lots of santa mickey ear hats! They are warm, too. Keeps the head warm when it gets chilly at night... most people are very casual as they are touring the parks.

Last year we went to CP on xmas eve and it poured! Got rained out and had to reschedule ourselves for another show 2 nights later.. would have hated to be dressed up then.. sneakers had to be dried for hours.. there were above the ankle deep puddles by Japan :)
