Hi Guys

Has anyone done Christmas day or week at DLP?

We are looking at booking from 23rd to 27th 2012 and wanted to make sure we weren't completely mad for thinking this is do-able

I know lots of eateries do special Christmas eve meals, is Christmas day business as usual ?

Also how busy was it ?

Thanks for the help

It's great - this will be our third time in the last four years staying over Christmas - we're arriving on 22nd and leaving on 26th

We stay at the Marriott so have our own house - not sure I could spend Christmas in a hotel room

Christmas day restaurants are normal menu - we have eaten previously at Walts and Blue Lagoon - the children (3 of them) want to go to Cafe Mickey this year

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are reasonable for queues etc

Boxing day is one of the busiest days we have ever seen.

No, you're not mad - we went for Christmas in 2005 and it was wonderful. :santa:

Agree with Simon - we also found it surprisingly quiet up until Boxing Day then it got even busier each day until the day we left (28th) when it was manic but it was so worth it. Christmas Eve was so quiet in the afternoon that we stayed on the boats on Pirates of the Caribbean and rode again ... and again ... and again ... pirate:

I was hoping you guys were going to say great thing about DLP at Christmas .. I went in november last year and it was so magical that I really wanted to go back this year but couldn't get there.

It was my other half that suggested we actually go for Christmas :rotfl:

I am going to book it as soon as I have finished pay the March Disneymoon off :D

Thanks again
