Christmas day; romantic or christmassy meal recommendations wanted

Okay so 'the bloke' (as my boyfriend is affectionately known) who lives in the UK will be staying here with me for Christmas day and I thought of popping into Disney for a slightly more memorable christmas seeing as he is abandoning his family for the first time in his life, just to be here with me (so I better make it worth it haha)

I thought maybe somewhere with a view of the castle? Or somewhere fun? Or do any of the restaurants do anything different on Christmas day? Have eaten at most of the restaurants in DLP over the years except the two in the DLH so all suggestions for a memorable christmas day much appreciated!

I've never been to DLP on Christmas Day, or with my OH for that matter , so I may be way off base here. But I think the Disneyland Hotel is very Christmassy, its absolutely beautiful inside at this time of year. How about going there for breakfast/brunch (its served as late as 11am, you don't have to be staying there as a guest, and you don't have to reserve in advance).

Then you could have a stroll around the park afterwards and do your favourite rides.

We will be there this Christmas and while Xmas day lunch sounds like a great idea please be aware that a lot of the hotels and restaurants are charging a lot for the the meals, and I mean A LOT!

I would do as the previous poster suggested and go for brunch somewhere but you may need to call to see whats available...

Christmas day is normally the standard menus, Christmas Eve are the really expensive meals. In 2009 we ate at Walts and last year we ate at the Blue Lagoon. There wasn't anything really christmassy about the Blue Lagoon and can't remember whether they had any decorations in Walts.

This year we will be at Cafe Mickey - just need to decide what time

It is a great place to spend Christmas Day, I am sure you will both enjoy it.

Sorry my mistake. There is one Christmas Lunch that is £116 per person for adults and I think it was that which stuck in my mind!

With regard to where to go: pick something you know he'll like. If you've already eaten in most you should have a fair idea of what to expect. There are decorations up in most places so I think it just goes on personnal preference.
