Christmas Day Parade Filming Date?

Does anyone know the date it is to be filmed in Disneyland? I've heard that it's sometime during the days we're staying, but I can't find any information anywhere. Does anyone have any details or firm guesses?

I would also love to know when the parade is, I thought I read somewhere it is the weekend of Nov 08 but that would mean the Christmas decorations would be up by then which would be totally awesome because we will be there then.

What I've heard is that they put the deco up early to film.

We were there a few years back when they were filming. It was so fun to see ourselves on TV Christmas morning! They filmed the weekend before
Thanksgiving that year. That's normally when the Christmas parade starts also.

I would also love to know the date of the parade. We are going to be there the weekend before Thanksgiving. I know that is the weekend they start the decorations and parade.

I don't know the date they film it but the parade starts on Friday, Nov. 21st this year.

I would guess it is the weekend before thanksgiving! We have been to wdw the first week in nov and they were filming other specials there, concerts and whatnot, but the parade was later. A few years ago it was filmed the first weekend of dec. Idk but the first weekend in nov seems too early to me. Also good point about the deco, dont think it would be ready...who knows!

Two or three years ago (sometimes the trips all run together!) they filmed it on the Friday before Thanksgiving. It was weird because it was the parade with no music. Just the floats going by

I was there last year, they did it on Veteran's Day weekend. They kept starting it over and over. I was sad that I missed hearing Josh Groban sing, but I did hear all of the High School Musical performers (not quite the same thing though).

I went last year but I don't remember the exact dates I think it was Nov. 10 and 11

If you go to Disney's website there seems to be no parades going from Nov 13-20th (I think) maybe it is in that time?

Yep, the filming will be on 8 November, with some stuff going on 7 and 9 November, as well.

There are not times set in stone yet, but it's usually in the early morning (before noon-ish) hours. No word on who or what will be appearing, either.

I would love to see this! Any advice on what time to get to the park that day? (I am figuring be there for park opening but will the crowd be insane by that point?)

Will also be my first time attempting to take the Metrolink buses from here in Long Beach to get there, should be an adventure!
