Has anyone been to MK or other Disney parks on Christmas Day? What was it like? Any guess if it would be more or less busy that going on Dec 27th or 28th?

We are hoping to go to MK and then hop to Epcot or vice versa. Also, wondering if hopping isn't an option we could just spend the day in MK.

Any thoughts?

We’ve been several times on Christmas day, but all of them were in the pre-Covid times. It was enormously crowded, and, at least one time, they weren’t allowing new guests into the park late in the day. We went just for the atmosphere and didn’t go on that many rides, but had a dining reservation for lunch. We had a great time.

We went on Christmas Day last year, but we went to HS and avoided MK, because everything we read said MK would be super busy. For HS the crowds were light at the start. We rope dropped early entry and got 4 rides in as the park was opening. It really started to get crowed around 11:00. We went to HS again later in the week and had the same plan with the same rides and we only got 2 rides in, so it was busier later in the week.

I've been on Christmas Eve Day, but not Christmas Day itself. I agree it's more if an atmosphere thing than a ride thing, but I did really enjoy it.

If you don't go on Christmas, I'd say the 27th is probably better than the 28th just because it's a Wednesday as opposed to a Thursday.
