We are making our first christmas disney trip this year (13th Dec - 30th Dec), and was wondering what everyone did on Christmas Day

Which Park
Where to eat
etc etc

There will be five of us myself , DW, FIL, DS 5 & DD 3

DD will be 4 on christmas day and have no idea what we can plan for her although she is into disney princesses.

We will be staying at Beach Club Villas over christmas

Any suggestions.

Thanks Paul

How exciting! I am also off on my first WDW Christmas break this year, after 10 summer trips.

Your DD is going to have the best birthday ever :D. I can't be too specific as I'm learning new info myself all the time but perhaps a character breakfast so start the day? I'm sure that's it's Cinderella's Royal Table which offers princesses. Very hard to get seating and will be even harder on Dec 25th so you must book it asap. I am not sure how far in advance you can book this but it could be up to 3-4 months ahead and believe me, they go FAST!

There may be resort restaurants which offer character meals too with the Disney princess but I don't know which. These also would need to be booked early.

Be sure to say when booking that it's your DD's birthday, and mention it again when arriving at a restaurant. On such a special day she'll be sure to get star treatment.

I suggest you post this thread onto the Restaurants board as well as this one. You are sure to get much more accurate responses than mine :p

One thing to note - Magic Kingdom is the busiest park on Dec 25th and could close to capacity quite early.

Hi  ,

We were in Florida last Christmas Day and we spent the morning relaxing in the resort (Wilderness Lodge) and then headed in to Magic Kingdom just after lunch. It was magical and Magic Kingdom was beauitful on Christmas Day. It was fairly busy, but we didn't arrive until about 1/2pm and we were still allowed in.

There are so many options regarding where to eat. We ate lunch in Whispering Canyon Cafe at the WL and then had dinner at Tony's Town Square restaurant in MK(If I remember rightly). We also did Cinderellas Royal Table (but not on Christmas Day). This sounds like a great place to go on Xmas day and there are many Disney Princesses. Have a look at this thread for more information and advice on how to get CRT, MAKE SURE YOU RING EXACTLY 60 DAYS IN ADVANCE THE SECOND THE OFFICE OPENS!: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=195400

Have a great trip, WDW is brilliant at Christmas time! :)

Richard.
