Hi everyone,

having only ever been to WDW in the summer before I have a few Q's regarding our stay at xmas...

firstly, is there anywhere that we can get a christmas dinner in the parks, or one as near as possible to what we would usually have? If there is, what are the prices like? can imagine that it would be hiked up somewhat. Also if you have the dining plan, would you be affected at all? Haven't added dining on as of yet, but would consider it if eating out would be much more expensive than usual.

Another thing that's been on my mind is the temperature, from what I have read, people have said that its still ok to go out in shorts/tshirt in the day, but the evening gets chilly. How is it in the rooms at night? Does the aircon turn into a heater iykwim?

Would love to hear any advice/tips from those of you that have already been at that time of year,,,, although this is my 4th time to the world, it feels like its my first !!! :faint:

TIA!

Hi Traci

We have been a few times at Christmas and have eaten in the Castle and at other WDW hotels - although none served turkey.

LTT in the MK serve a turkey skillet type dinner with mash and veg - we have been here & enjoyed it - just not on Christmas Day.

If we aren't planning on going to the parks - will normally book for one of the hotels - just in case the parks close.

We were there Christmas 2008 when we had lovely weather in the 80's - but other years - and especially the last one were a lot cooler - when you needed trousers and a jacket some days.

We have also booked to go this Christmas - so counting down just like you:)

thanks for the reply!

I did like the look of LTT but I've heard stories about MK being a nightmare on christmas day :(

Have read on an old thread that the rose and crown at epcot does a traditional english xmas dinner, would love to know if this is true?

Can't imagine WDW being cold lol, but I will be packing jackets just in case ;)
