We're doing LTT before MVMCP. I'm having trouble deciding on a Christmas Day Meal. I think 50's Prime TIme would be fun and family, but am concerned that we might not be able to get back into Magic Kingdom if we so wanted. I'm concerned it might fill to capacity and we'd be stuck at MGM all day and night. What suggestions can you offer?

If you don't enter MK at the beginning of the AM you won't be able to enter. IT is so packed that you won't be able to walk. I would stay as far away from the MK as I could on Christmas Day...Crowds are way to big...

That said if you want to do the MK plan to start there early in the am...Last year starting on Dec 25th MK was closed by 11:30am...

We've done MK in the past on X-mas day, but I'm not overly excited about meal choices. Everyone seems to suggest LTT, but we've got that scheduled another day. I'm just not so sure we could enjoy MGM for a whole day. We usually do MGM many times, but only for part of a day.

We went a little different route. Since we usually have a big family breakfast on Christmas we tried to continue the tradition and had our big meal for breakfast while in WDW. We got to MK for opening and were able to walk on 4 rides before our PS at the Castle. After breakfast as the crowds were building, we left MK and spent the rest of the day resort hopping to check out the decorations and we played mini golf. We also had a sleigh ride at the WL at night. This way we didnt have to worry about getting into any specific park, we kept busy, and still had a very magical meal that day.
We had our holiday dinner on Christmas Eve at Le Cellier, doing the CP package. This too was a magical way to spend Christmas Eve.

I loved reading your Christmas report. However, I can't find it anymore. Do you by chance have a copy of it you can email me. We are planning a Christmas trip this year and yours sounded so good I want to try and duplicate it. When did you begin making all of your ressies, etc? Also, how much did you pay for airfare. We are trying to decide whether to wait for Southwest out of Providence or do Jet Blue or Song out of Boston. Any help you can provide would be great. Thanks again. :earsgirl:

Awww, thanks Bo'sMom! Its nice to know my reports were useful. :D You can duplicate it, but I think I need to come along as a tour guide. ;)

I did a search, just filling in CamColt as my user name, and the Trip Report Board, and they all popped up there. :D

Check your PMs. Ill send you all the other info as not to completely hijack this thread. ;)
