Christmas Day - AK or HS?

We finally booked our flights. Departing on Christmas Day is significantly cheaper for us than departing on the 26th. So we added a park day and will be headed to the parks on the 25th. We are landing at 11am, plan on lunch somewhere outside the parks around 1pm, and then be at the parks by 3 or 4pm.

Between AK and HS, any recommendation as to which park we should go to? We most likely won't plan to ride anything except what we get for FP's. It's going to be more about soaking in the holiday atmosphere, enjoying a snack or two, etc.

Personally, I would do AK. IMHO, there is so much more to enjoy there than just rides - animal trails, shows, etc. Plus, it's ride tiering isn't as restrictive as DHS currently.

This is kind of how we operated Christmas Day a few years ago. We did a lazy morning at the hotel... breakfast and opening presents. Then we met some family passing through Orlando for lunch. Headed to HS late afternoon. We rode our 3 fast pass rides and then snagged spots to watch Jingle Bell Jingle Bam. It was crowded navigating HS, but the projection show was a really fun way to end the day.
