Christmas Cruising 2005

My niece is in New Orleans in the 9th Ward for the week, helping to clean up and serving Thanksgiving dinner to those in need. I am sure it will be a humbling experience.

Karen, wow, WTG to your niece. I don't have to tell you what a great thing she's doing.

Broke my left leg twice. Once I was hit by a car when I was 8 and the other time I fell on the ice in college.

I guess I won't be telling you to break a leg on your upcoming productions! How about a instead?

I applied cause this time around its for real prizes like trips and cruises!

I'm wondering if we could find a way to get together somewhere over the holiday, somewhere that doesn't cost alotta money to go...

I did indeed apply, the minute the application was posted. I hope hope hope I get chosen to play. If not, I'll at least be a for the players! I'm SO happy you applied, too!!!!!

Is it supposed to rain over Thanksgiving weekend? Please tell me it's not, but I think I heard it's going to.

About that 3 grand, I didn't finish trying to balance everything, but I have to make sure I get it done. Either I haven't been subtracting correctly, or forgot to subtract for some checks I wrote, or someone is fraudulantly withdrawing money from my checking account. I just have to make sure I don't bounce any checks until I have all the numbers in order.

I want to go to DL SO much!! Maybe I can use it as a graduation present for Chad. Then at least I can justify spending the money. Well, I have to SAVE some money first. Anyway, first things first. Balancing the books. Thank god I'm able to stay unemployed. I really love managing the home. I find we're saving more by me not working, because now I cook instead of ordering food, and things like that. And with my job, it pushed us into a higher tax bracket that killed us. Sooooooo, enough finance talk!

I'm going to check out if there's any new game info!

Piper is absolutely adorable! Ill be sharing with Brittany and stefanie later! Thr girls enjoy it when I show them the pics you all share here.

They agree that Molly and Wilson look so grown up, they talk to chad and Jesse over on myspace, they also think piper is a priceless little doll!

We had just come back from a shopping spree at Babies R Us and I slapped those little items on her and snapped a picture.

Hi ALL!! I rarely find time to do more than sit down and check my email, let alone DIS, but here I am! I miss chatting with you all. Sadly, I must go back to work on Monday. I can't even believe that it has been nine weeks since Piper came into our lives. We are so blessed!

Aisling, I loved all the pictures you posted, especially Chad with his "girlfriend", and as a baby.

Tig, I believe that Grim and I are both planning on us making the DL trip in the May. We are both looking forward to it very much.

As for the freaks, I agree with Nan. I am proud to be a Disney Freak!

We are going to Grim's Sister's house tomorrow for Turkey Day. Grim is making his pies tonight. I am having a bridal shower for a friend on Saturday, so I'm working on the house. Grim put up all our paintings today, so our house is finally "dressed".

For some reason I had an hard time logging on again....I've tried for that last 3 days, but no luck. Sorry I've missed you.

Piper is way too cute for us!!!! Paul says he can't believe how big she is allready. Molly said awwwwwww


We are hanging around playing games at home today, right now it is Molly vs chicken Battleship. later we plan a good round of monopoly. (I plan on kicking butt) We're home today just the four of us. Just not up for running around town today.

Watching the parade Aisling, you out there in the rain somewhere? And what is that crazy David Blain doing now? I think Molly and I might be talking of a summer NYC trip...American Girl inspired. I figure we have about one more year to enjoy this doll stage, so perhaps I should jump on it while I can.

tomorrow is hmb, molly going to ride horses with Lee, paul, wil and I are going to hang out at the beach.

sounds like the mini DL reunion is in the making for May 'eh?

Did I report back from our trip yet? I think not....Dland was great. VEry crowded, sold out on Friday night. Never saw that before. Small World was great. Haunted Mansion...Grim have you seen what they do with the heads at Xmas? Great huh?

I've been looking at pics of dl, I can't wait til we see it...I'm so ready to finally visit California and actually remember it. I say that cause mom'll tell you I've already been there.

This was Chad's reply when I emailed Piper's photo to him at work. He can't believe she's not like a newborn infant anymore!

Dede, it's too bad you couldn't get an extended leave. But you know what, no matter how long a leave you get, it'll never feel long enough. Are you happy with your babycare arrangements? You'll all be fine! Sending good thoughts your way.

We didn't go over to the parade this year...just too nasty out. I wanted to go at the end just to see Santa, but it didn't work out. It was so so crowded, much more than last year for some reason, even though it was raining. The best thing was seeing people standing outside Circuit City last night in the wind, cold, and rain, waiting for them to open at 5 AM. Hey, for a $99 laptop, I should have stood out there with them all night!

Omg John, these DVD's are fah bu lous!!!!

I already watched the highlights and have John watching the first of the full length dvd's with me!

I just told him he is going in 2008 with all of us. I showed him who everybody is already.

Seeing the ship and our pictures and just everything is the best ... You two are the best!

I can't say thank you enough...

Who came up with the music choices, esp the cha cha...if I have one song that would take me right back on that ship its the cha cha slide.
