Hi gang!
I've been so stressing over my trip coming up fast. Normally, I'd be excited, happy, packing already! But with 8 in our group, who have little/no WDW experience, I feel pressured to make everything wonderful for them all. At first I was thrilled to be going to WDW with my extended family, but now all I can think of is how nice and smooth it all would be if it were just me, Chad, Jesse, and Louise going. Mel was on the verge of coming with us, and now he's laughing about it, saying "THANK GOD I'm not going to be with you bunch of nuts bumping into each other and walking in circles in 90 degree heat!"
Anyway, poor me!
So Nan, you caught me being obnoxious on one of the resort threads! Was it a stupid mug debate I got myself into?
I don't even remember because I'm trying to block it all from my memory. I'm starting to turn into a <<evil witch smilie>>!
Tig, Ms. Voice of Reason, remind me to butt out of those threads, and I promise I'll try!!
Nan, seriously, how's mom? How are the kids? How's Chicken? Have any new pictures to post for us, maybe Wilson's DLand room? It was so cool to see Lynn respond to you abour meeting up with her anf Keith in England. Lynn, hi!! Lynn, I remember when we were in St. Thomas (was it St. Thomas or St. Maarten
) , and Jesse and I were coming down from the Tram place, and you were going in. I was thinking "I hope she doesn't miss the ship!!" because I thought it was later than it was. Man, I'd love to be there right now, looking down at the beautiful islands and water.
Nan, I think it's wonderful that you're going to England. What an experience that'll be. Please oh please take a picture of you 4 trying to make a Beefeater laugh!!!
Tig, yes, we have to make a playdate. And I was surprised and happy that you still keep in touch with Sharon (Havencruiser) and her daughter. She's going to the July Dismeet, I assume? I so wanted to go, but, well, I don't really know why I didn't go ahead with it, but I must have had a reason. I just can't remember! A lot going on in July. June, too. Jesse's Confirmation this Sunday (Chad's his sponsor, I'm so proud of my babies!), and then Jesse's JHS graduation, and my nephew's HS graduation.
I forgot to tell you, Chad got a summer internship at congressman Vito Fasella's (sp?) NYC office. So far, he has swept the office floor, became a great coffee maker, licked a lifetime of envelopes, and answered phonecalls from every looney in the city, all in a suit and tie! Chad, I hope you're not reading this and thinking I'm making fun of you baby! Really, it's a great experience for him, and he loves the networking.
Dede and Grim, I saved you for last because I wanted to end this thesis with my love and prayers for you as you get closer to welcoming Piper into the world. Grim, have you thought about a web-cam so we can all share the experience with you two??
Now, I'm going to be a good housewife/housemom and burn down the kitchen! (Can you tell I'm losing my mind? I wish my sister would cancel on me!!)
If anyone wants anything special from WDW, please let me know, and I'll be happy to take care of it for you.
Dede, would you still like me to get you Piper's Christmas ornaments?
One more thing, Tig, about the banana boat pictures, they were taken with a regular (not the digital) camera, and I have been unable to find them since we had them developed. (Well, Chad has been unable to find them, he was in charge of our pictures.) You've asked so many times and have been so sweet and patient. Please know that I haven't been ignoring your request, but I should have taken over from Chad and handled the pictures. When I told him several times that you wanted the pictures, I think he was hesitant to tell me that he doesn't know what he did with them, especially since all of our Trunk Bay photos are in that bunch, from the waterproof cameras. I promise I'll keep looking, they have to be around here somewhere, since he says he doesn't remember taking them out of the house, and I'm usually VERY careful with what I thow away.
One more thing, my font is showing up large, is it still the large size to all of you? I'm asking because someone on the Dis let me know that writing so big is, well, intimidating
, and instructed me in a PM on how to reduce the font for the boards while keeping it large in my own viewing.
I really have to go now, I miss you all!
