Here I am, Snoopy ears flying up in the air...SOOOOOO Happy!!!! I learned to post pictures....now you will all be not only bored with my jabbering mouth but get eyestrain from me posting pictures

Okay story time....short I promise....Concert was awesome. I wiggled my way back stage got all the band to sign tshirt for Molly tickets for Wil, Paul and me and pictures of all of us too.

I'll photo bucket the rest of the pics later and add the link for you to see. Concert pictures are ok, backstage wonderful (if I do say so myself)

OK, I am a trivia NUT--Dan says I have more useless information in my brain than most people he knows (we have a couple of friends with a similar issue..)
But you are all going to blow me away when it comes to Star Trek...but I am always up for a brewing party! Tig, where did you get the cute guys doing cheers w/ their beers?

I am pretty much ready. Trying to tie up loose ends here (the list of things to do that would be nice to have done....), doing some last minute summer activities w/ the kids: ball game, golf, museum, etc. (Kids summer is really over next week, too--they will spend days at school w/ either Dan or I staying out of our way! They usually watch TV, play games, play on computer, read, play on playground, occasionally help us...lunch out everyday is incentive to behave!), starting to do somethings to get ready for the school year to help the transition. BUT I could get used to this!
Oh, well, guess I should try to get some of that list done!

I'm working on school with the kids already, mine go back right after Labor Day.

DS is starting Junior College and DD is in her senior year at high school.

With that said, DS and I are dealing with testing and scheduling and tuition-DD and I are dealing with senior portraits, senior class trip to WDW, and her schedule she says is perfect so no issues there thank goodness.

I'm getting ready to start a cruise meet detail, I read someone recommend the meets be posted on the cabin door-that could be done-

I'm also looking at the excursions one more time before time to book them, I'd like to do as much as possible with members of our little group as well as explore the sights and get the most out of this experience at a good price.

That stinks that the champagne catamaran thing isn't offered anymore-I kinda liked that idea too!

Okay-I've read all you have wrote and here are my replies-maybe in pieces so I don't lose the posts...

Aisling: the weather in December is totally unpredictable..it could go as high as 80 and as low as freezing. We will have to watch the weather closer to cruise time to know for sure.

My family is back in school mode too-schedules received, portraits to be ordered, senior trip being paid for...you know the drill all too well I'm sure.

Tori: Hats abound for all of us...I'm thinking of wearing a different hat for each meet we have. So far I have my fuzzy mickey ears, my tigger christmas hat, my princess christmas hat and golden mickey ears (thank you Nan for the last two.)

I'm liking the sound of your formal dress, still waiting for a photo? I warned my girls about the European style beaches, they can't wait to see this. I wanna take them to Orient beach, I hear they'll get a real eyeful there

I like how you posted in DCL colors, tres cool.

And leaving us in suspense with those .......... - you are cruel my young friend, but fair...

My kids go back to school right after labor day, only about three weeks to go.

Nan and Grim- I've noted what night you all are doing Palo, I'll decide later if we'll actually go---

Aisling: I hope your clothing issues have settled a little...I read that you can dress down the tuxes for semi-formal night by removing a piece or two

It's nice that your boys get along so well...I am very grateful that my two are the same way.

My sis and I had some ugly battles when we were young-I achieved one of my goals by encouraging a better relationship with my kids than I had. Sis and I get along great now! I think it's more because there were three Alpha females trying to reside in the same house...not a good idea.

That's great news that you're able to schedule your next WDW vacation, how cool will it be to be able to do both in one vacation...You did say the Poly was among your favs, I recommend going with what you love.

I'm gonna add to the list of celebrations for the end of Nov, beginning of December-DH and my wedding anniversary is December 8th. As he says, "the day after the day that will live in infamy." You got some major party plans going on there Miss Nan!

I remember DomIII from way back in the beginning of this thread, if I haven't said it already, Welcome Back Karen, Kayla and Dom-can't wait to meet you all in December!

I probably still have Ginny's spreadsheet in my computer at work, I'll dig it up for ya Karen and send it over as soon as I do...

Yay! You're right across the hall from us? Except for a few on deck 8 and a few on deck 2, most of us are on the same level. Listen for the bullhorn to announce all our DIS gatherings---who was bringing the horn with them anyway?

Karen: My tie dyed Mickey tee came from a fellow DISer. My friend Rose is wearing hers in my pics...mine is on my bed in some of my pics. I also bought one for my sis...I got them all last Christmas for $20 each.

I contacted the girl who made them and she offered to do them in any color scheme I wanted for the $20 a piece. I asked for hues of purple, they turned out really nice didn't they?

I sorry to see that Gmom gave up DDs prom date, losing any kind of pet can be hard-I would miss her too

Aisling: Who wants to be a Mousketeer is at the TOP of my list. I also like the idea if Studio Sea is a non-smoking club at night. The only deterrent to me and the adults clubs will be the smoke...I'd rather be outside thank you. No offense to any smokers, my allergies really couldn't handle that kind of atmosphere anywhere, not just the cruise.

Also I am very nervous. I never considered flying down on the 23rd. We booked everything through a TA so we won't know our flight info until 30 days out !!! So pray for nice weather on the east coast on the 24th!!!! YIKES. Once I find our flight info out, we'll know if we can meet at the terminal before we board.

Please tell me the rest of the group is going to have a good time and not be overwhelmed by all the Disney stuff! (I am sure they will I just need some assurance.) I some how think they won't be joining in on any of the meets that might happen!

Now where is every one going to be for the cast off party??

My daughter saw this at the Poly last December and I was being a Mom and said "no swords!" And didn't get it for her...sooooo...I asked Mom to do us a favor and get this for Britt so she can have it for Pirate night on our cruise ...check it out
