Christmas - CR Tower or WL Woods V

Going in mid December. Which would you choose Contemporary Tower or Wilderness Lodge Wood View? Thanks in advance!!

I cannot imagine being away from the Lodge at Christmas. While CR is a fine resort they seem to have fewer decorations than many other resorts.

I'll be in the minority and say the CR. I think it is beautiful at Christmas. Also consider all the beautiful views you have from the tower.

I was trying to get in there 12/3-12/5 and nothing!

The Lodge books up fast around the holidays!

Wilderness Lodge but if your planning for this year you will need to get on that phone now...and take anywhere they have availability. Don't wait on any more opinions or you might not find a room at either Resort.

We have stayed at CR in december, BUT would not do it again. They used to be much more elaborate in there decorations. Last year they did 1/2 of what they had the previous year. Not sure why?

A plus to the CR you can walk back from the magic kingdom. During the mvmcp this is a great plus. The crowds are large, but the decorations are definately nothing compared to other resorts.

We split last december with the poly and I expected the poly to be lacking with the south seas theme, but was very blown away by there GREAT decorations! They went all out. It was definately uplifting after being at the CR.

I am usually a big CR fan, but the decorations were really poor. Hope they get there act togther soon.

Too me, WL is one of the best resorts at Christmas since the decorations are wonderful. If I had the chance to stay there at that time of year I would (I wanted too this year in early dec but already all booked so I am over at BWI).

Now if it was actually Christmas week, I would say CR since getting to and from MK would be much easier with the walkway.
