I have been trying to find one I remember-I thought it was a Coke one where people are out in the snow, on a hill, I think singing "I'd like to teach the world to sing'? Anyone remember that one?

One of my favorites, which since I moved West, I don't see anymore, is the one from Publix. They don't even talk in it, just Christmas scenes, I think there might have been a train in it. It's the music I like, and it always reminds me of when my kids were little, didn't have a ton of money, but the future stretched before me. Sappy I know!

I know the one! All their Thanksgiving and Christmas commercials tug at the heartstrings. Also loved the one with the older couple who baked the lasagna and took it to the young couple moving in across the street.

My CAT always goes crazy when this Hershey's Kisses commercial is on. She runs to the TV and watches. One year, when she was a kitten, she tried to paw at the kisses as they were ringing.

I just found this vid on YouTube, and as soon as she heard it, she was looking around for where the sound was coming from, as she knew the TV wasn't on. Her expression was priceless. I finally showed her the computer screen and she watched it a couple times.

Wow that Hallmark one got me crying and I have never seen it before.

Okay one of my two absolute favorite commercials has already been mentioned. I wait patiently every year to hear the Hershey kisses "We wish you a Merry Christmas" one. I know it's Christmas time when it's shown. The other I can quote line for line:

Ah, Christmas commercials! Almost better than the Christmas TV specials. A commercial I especially loved was for Folgers coffee. It showed a son showing up on Christmas morning to surprise his family. His younger sister greeted him at the door and he started the coffee before surprising Mom and Dad. Of course upstairs in her bed, Mom smelled the coffee brewing and knew something was up. I'll try to find a link:

However, my all-time favorite Christmas commercial is from the late 70's/early 80's and it's for (Drumroll, please) ... the Barbie Dream House. The cool, A-Frame one in all it's yellow and orange glory. This commercial started my love affair with Barbie, especially her cool dwellings. Take a look:

This is my favorite holiday commercial ever...has been since I was a little, little girl. I haven't seen it played locally for a few years, unfortunately. It just brought back so many Christmas memories from as early as I can remember up through my teenage years. This commercial was a big deal to me (as a lifelong cat lover)!

I wish they would play it again! The don't use the "We're the Source for you" logo anymore so they don't use it. The words aren't in the commercial though- they are really missing out on a great opportunity to lure back those of us who were kids when this commercial came out!

Does anyone remember the one where Ronald is in kind of a wintry wonderland and he sees "Lindsay" I think her name was and she's running away- he brings up all the "Who's gonna...." questions and then she says "I think I hear my Mom calling!"

I loved that commercial! Can't find a clip anywhere!
