Thanks for the pics. Just curious, you say you took them tonight and I'm going to MK on a Monday. How crowded was it? In the pics, it looks very crowded on mainstreet.

We too will be there next Monday. It looks crowded to me and we will be there for the first MVMCP on Nov 13th. I guess we just need to be happy that we are there, and enjoy ourselves. We are soooo excited!

It really wasn't that bad at MK. It was crowded because the Castle show had just ended so lots of people in the area.

but what's the deal with the Christmas decorations going up already?

I was there during Jersey week in '03 & '05. In '03 there were no decorations up in MK. In '05 the I think only the big Christmas tree to the right of the castle was up. This year all the decorations are up with Christmas music playing already.

I don't know...to me it just makes Christmas time less special when the decorations are up for 2 1/2 months.

Here's hoping they move the Christmas tree once they finish parade taping!! I hate it over by the Rose Garden....it just feels so much better to have it at the end/start of Main St. Does anyone know if they are going to move it after that first weekend in Dec?? It was a huge pain watching 'Wishes' past it last year from the Rose Garden. But, I guess we will persevere if they don't move it...watching the MVMCP fireworks at the Rose Garden with all the MouseFesters is too good to miss, even if I do have to watch with that tree in front of me!!!!

Help me understand where the tree is located. I have taken photos from the rose garden Swan dock looking up at the Castle. Will the tree be in the photo? will it block the Castle completely? I need to get a Holiday photo of my girls and would love to have the Casltle and some decoration in it as well. this may actually work to my advantage if I can see both the tree and the Castle. Would it work?

Yeah...I see it starts the 13th. I just I'm just a traditionalist at heart. I don't like to see Christmas decorations until after Thanksgiving. I know that's not reality anymore, but I just not right seeing decorations fully up before even Election Day has passed.
