Christmas Cheer

I think I originally found this on the Cricut boards. I couldn't find it on here, so I apologize if I am repeating, but I am sooooo excited.

JoAnn's is apparently clearancing the Christmas Cheer cartridge. (Why, I don't know) I got it for $19.97.

On Monday, I had read other posts about this sale, and tried calling my nearest J's that carries Cricut. They told me they weren't clearancing any carts. We had some errands to run in the vacinity of that J's tonight, so I asked DH if we could stop by. It wasn't marked at the clearance price, but I thought I'd give it a try. I asked the cashier to scan it, and it came up at $19.97. She even scanned other carts on the rack, but nothing else there was clearance priced.

I AM SO JEALOUS! I read that on the Cricut boards, called my local Jo's and they said they had had them on clearance and now they were gone. I went to the store just to see for myself. Sure enough, they actually knew what they were talking about.

Okay, I need to go pick up a Cricut blade. (yes, after six months I finally need a new blade. I tried sharpening it on my own, the results were )

I will go to my Joann's and see how I fair. Will post tonight.

Well, my two replacement blades with a 40% coupon cost me LOTS of money. But none of my purchases were cricut cartridges. The display rack showed TB&B and Mini Monograms for $19.97 but they were sold out, no Christmas Cheer either. Sorry ladies, I even had a stock person check in the inventory.

On the bright side, I did get the Disney Princess paper clips for $1.97 We won't talk about everything else I bought.

Ooooooooh. Mini Monograms would have been nice. That one wasn't at my store. Bummer. Nothing was marked as clearance, but the lady scanned the rest of the carts to look for clearance. I've heard that some people have been able to get Celebrations and Stamped at that price, too. Someone even said that ACM had a similar price on selected ones. No ACM here.

nope that was the only cart they had and I got the last one. Our store is teeny tinny so they don't have much.

Of course DS10 spilled the beans last night asking what I was going to do with my new cart.

I love that Christmas Cheer cart! It was one of the first ones that DH got me, way back when Mike's was talking coupons. You guys did great at that price!

I checked another Js (in Bristol, CT). Small store, the woman didn't even know what a cricut machine was, nope no good deals on carts there.

OH MY GOSH!! i was there last week on my way to my quilting guild and the sales people there are CLUELESS- they had no idea what i was talking about. What a dump that store is.
