Christmas celebrations 2010 / 2011

does anyone know when the christmas celebrations start this year as we are thinking of trying to catch them managed to talk the mrs round a little but it depends on her work holidays

my mum is travelling at thanksgiving, and as I understand it (although I am basing this on previous years rather than anything else as nothing has been confirmed yet), she will be able to see a MVMCP as they seem to begin not long after halloween (early Nov) and I am hoping that she will see one of the first candlelight processionals as I 'think' they start the day after thanksgiving and that the osborne lights & AK parade will start that weekend also(so Nov 27th)

Again, this is what I am hoping for, but it is based on what has happened before so I am extremely hopeful!!
