This would be a great idea for Christmas cards, or even to give as gifts with some boxes of cards.

Saw that but it more than doubled postage! :earseek:

I just noticed that too. I wasn't really paying attention to the price until after I posted. WOW :earseek:

You know what is a good idea though,if you are going to be at WDW over the holidays, is to go to a little shop at DTD, can't remember the name now of course..but they will post mark your envelope from Disney World.
Very cute, and costs the same.
Of course, you have to buy the trip to Disney first..but, hey...its worth it right??
LOL

Can you tell me what this looks like? Is it just a regular postmark that says "WDW" or is it "noticable"?

Thanks,
Maggie

Well, I did this back in 2000, so I don't know how it looks now, or if it even changes..but it was a stamp like thing, that stamped out a pic of Cindy's castle, and then said Happy Holidays from WDW under that then..the .34 cent mark on the corner of that. Was noticeable yes. My parents went in 2002, and the stamp they had was just a corner stamp that had Lake Buena Vista on it. But still said Happy Holidays. So maybe they change it up. We are going back this year to do the same..so Hopefully it will be a big noticeable one., I thought it was really neat!! Also, an ideas that we are doing to share our WDW fun is getting the xmas cards with the diecut for the pic. Then putting in a picture of us on Vacation * having them printed at a nearby Walgreens* then having them postmarked at DTD. Just an idea.
Have a good time! :goodvibes

For one sheet it was like an extra $10 (and for 2 sheets it is an extra $15 above postage) .... I had thought about it...it's a cute idea. There's always the DISNEY stamps...but I always look foward to the Christmas ones(if they are cute)

Yes, it is a bit (okay, maybe a lot) more expensive but, it is a great gift for that hard to buy for person! I got stamps made of my niece and gave them to her parents (who have everything) and they raved about them! They carried them around the party showing every guest that was there. Moral of the story-saved myself a huge headache in shopping for a gift! I bet grandma & grandpa would like them also. Just my $.02...

It is so funny to see this posted today since I just saw one of these stamps on a card today and let me tell you it was the cutest thing ever! This was someone that is a resident in a nursing home and it made her day to have such a special stamp on her card. The picture quality was very good and it was quite large for a stamp. Definitely a great thing for someone who doesn't care about the cost, just the "wow-factor". :flower:
