I just had a surprise change in scheduling and now we're talking about a Christmas trip to WDW and parking our rental RV at FW. They're booked of course.

I know it's a long shot, but would I be wasting my time calling and checking on cancellations?

We secured ressies at the CBR (stunned !) for Dec 24 to 28, but I'd love to takes the pooches along and stay at FW.

Whatdoyathink?

Yup.... keep trying on line, and use a wide range of dates. Don't be afraid to book two weeks and cancel what you don't need.... it works! I had to cobble together a December ressie for us out of 3 different reservations.

There is no harm in trying but I think you should definitely have a good back-up plan at this point. I have been trying for the last 6 months and have called dozens of times and checked their web site countless times.

I've been able to piece together dates for Dec 20 - 28 but still nothing for the remaining 4 nights to the 1st.

Disney resevations lines are not toll free, it has cost me a small fortune to get what I have so far...

We have several last minute ressies over the years,, we got ressies different times of the day, but our best shot always came when calling Disney at (their) the very opening time in the morning,7:AM Eastern time.

After trying for months to get a ressie from Dec 20 through January 1 we finally got lucky this weekend.

We collected Dec 20 through Dec 28 a few months ago, we got these 8 days in three different calls to string together one reservation. Weeks and months went by with no luck then on Friday we got 2 additional days and on Saturday we got our last 2 days - only issue is the last 2 days are preferred and not premium. We'll keep trying to move the last 2 days but at least we're camping.

The last person we spoke with at CRO said there is a alot of change at this time of year so the advice to keep on trying is good. I can't say any time of day is better than any other, seems to be completly random and based on when people cancel.

We learned our lesson this year and booked for next Christmas already.

Good luck with you ressies...
